Creamy, chunky, and bright with lime — the kind of guacamole that disappears before you've finished setting out the chips.

Ingredients

4 Servings
  • 3 largeripe avocados
  • 2 tbspfresh lime juice(about 1 lime)
  • ½ tspkosher salt(plus more to taste)
  • ¼ smallwhite onion(finely diced)
  • 1jalapeño(seeded and minced)
  • 2 tbspfresh cilantro(roughly chopped)
  • 1 clovegarlic(minced)
  • ¼ tspground cumin

Method

  1. 01

    Halve and pit the 3 large ripe avocados. Scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.

    Add the 2 tbsp fresh lime juice and ½ tsp kosher salt. Mash with a fork to your preferred texture — leave some chunks for body.

    Fold in the 0.25 small white onion, 1 jalapeño, 1 clove garlic, 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, and ¼ tsp ground cumin.

    Taste and adjust salt and lime juice as needed. Serve immediately, or press plastic wrap directly onto the surface and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
