Hydrating and lightly textured, chia water is two ingredients and five minutes of effort — with a gel-like consistency that keeps you full.

Ingredients

  • 2 cupscold water
  • 1 ½ tbspchia seeds
  • ½ tbsplemon juice(freshly squeezed, optional)
  • 1 tsphoney(optional, to taste)

Method

    Pour the 2 cups cold water into a glass or jar.

    Add the 1 ½ tbsp chia seeds and stir well for about 30 seconds to distribute them evenly.

    Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes, then stir again to break up any clumps that have formed.

    If using, squeeze in the ½ tbsp lemon juice and drizzle in the 1 tsp honey, then stir to combine.

  5. 05

    Drink immediately for a lighter texture, or refrigerate for 20–30 minutes for a thicker, more gel-like consistency.
