
Skinny Margarita
All the bright, citrusy punch of a classic margarita — tequila, fresh lime, and a touch of agave — with none of the sugary mix.
Ingredients
- ½ tspkosher salt(for the rim)
- 1 largelime(1 wedge for rim, rest juiced (about 1 oz))
- 2 ozblanco tequila(100% agave)
- 1 ozfresh lime juice(from about 1 large lime)
- ½ ozfresh orange juice
- ½ oztriple sec
- ½ tspagave nectar
- 1 cupice
Method

Pour the ½ tsp kosher salt onto a small flat plate and spread it into an even layer.

Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks glass, then press and rotate the rim into the salt to coat it evenly. Fill the glass with ice and set aside.

Combine the 2 oz blanco tequila, 1 oz fresh lime juice, ½ oz fresh orange juice, ½ oz triple sec, and ½ tsp agave nectar in a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice, seal it, and shake hard for 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is very cold.

Strain into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice and serve immediately with a lime wedge.
