Chilled sparkling wine meets fresh orange juice in a 1:1 ratio — bright, effervescent, and ready in under two minutes.
Ingredients
4 Servings
- 2 cupsfresh orange juice(chilled, from about 4 large oranges)
- 1 pintdry sparkling wine(Prosecco, Cava, or Champagne, well chilled)
- 4 pieceorange twist or slice(for garnish, optional)
Method
- 01
Chill 4 champagne flutes in the freezer for at least 5 minutes before serving.
- 02
Pour ½ cup fresh orange juice into each flute, filling it halfway.
- 03
Slowly top each glass with sparkling wine to fill — pouring down the inside of the tilted glass preserves the bubbles.
- 04
Give each mimosa the gentlest single stir with a bar spoon if the layers need combining.
- 05
Garnish with an orange twist or slice on the rim and serve immediately.
