Prep: 5 min · Total: 5 min · Yields: 1 servings

## Ingredients

- ½ cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp maple syrup (or honey)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ cup fresh fruit (berries, banana slices, etc.)

## Instructions

1. Add the 0.5 cup rolled oats, 1 tbsp chia seeds, and 1 pinch salt to a jar or airtight container and stir to combine the dry ingredients.
2. Pour in the 0.5 cup milk and add the 0.25 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tbsp maple syrup, and 0.5 tsp vanilla extract.
3. Stir everything together until the yogurt is fully incorporated and no dry oats remain at the bottom.
4. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight (up to 5 days).
5. In the morning, give the oats a good stir — they should be thick and creamy. Loosen with a splash of milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
6. Top with the 0.5 cup fresh fruit and any other toppings, then serve cold directly from the jar.

## Tip

> Chia seeds are the key to a pudding-like texture — they absorb liquid and swell overnight. If you skip them, reduce the milk by 2 tbsp or the oats will turn out watery.
